Research Interests

My research interests focus on the modeling and dynamical analysis of cell signal transduction pathways by computational simulations.

Research Experiences
In Silico Identification of the Key Components and Steps in IFN-γ Induced JAK-STAT Signaling Pathway
In this work, we developed a new way to globally identify the key components and steps in cellular signal transduction networks at a systems level. This is investigated upon a mathematical model of IFN-γ induced JAK-STAT signaling pathway by applying multi-parametric sensitivity analysis (MPSA) which is based on a Monte-Carlo method over a broad range of simultaneous variation in parameters.
Robustness Analysis on JAK-STAT Signaling Pathway
We implement the robustness analysis on JAK-STAT signaling pathway by systematically varying the kinetic parameters values of this signaling pathway. This study demonstrates that the JAK-STAT signaling pathway is robust with respect to its 'signal time' and 'signal duration', but sensitive with respect to its 'signal amplitude'.
Mathematical Modeling of TGF-β Signaling Pathway
Now I am working on the mathematical modeling of another important signaling pathway, TGF-β signaling pathway.
